Welcome!!! It's funny, I find just the opposite. If I put on 5#, it looks like 10! Grr...
Let' me just say I am te tall girl in the family. Mom is 4'10 * Little sis is 4'8...and I actually made it to 5'0.
I am Julie, 48 years old and married. I was a chuncky child. My dad lovingly referred to me as a "pudgy petite". In my 20's I was at a nice healthy weight and was fairly fit. Then I quit smoking and gained 20# in 2 weeks. That was 18 years ago and I still have those 20 pounds plus another 15 or so on top of that.
The first of the year I got serious - and since January I have lost 20# and 10" but I have been stuck on this plateau for months now...I keep loosing then gaining back the same 2#.
And, because I am short - people cannot "see" that I am overwieght and over the healthy BMI range. SO they all laugh when I say I am working to lose weight.
Sorry, I have rambled enough... Glad to find the team.
