Hi! I am a relatively new member. I needed to lose 20 pounds and have lost almost 15 so far. While I'm at a comfortable weight now, my weight has gone up & down since I was 19 years old (I am now 41). Back in 1997, I joined Weight Watchers and weighed-in at 161 pounds. I tend to do okay losing weight b/c I can focus and get excited when I start seeing the pounds melt off. I have a terrible time maintaining however!! I follow the PointsPlus b/c it works for me, but I don't want to pay the $$ for WW on-line. When I dscovered Spark People, I was so pleased! Love it so much more than WW... And it's free!!! Love & luck to my fellow shorties out there!!!

You're cute, Tammy! And yes, to Shorty Curvy Ladies!! We all love this site because we can relate to one another and how were so short and that makes it harder and harder to stay slim and trim because it seems so much easier than those that look like giants to us! ha! My difficulty with losing weight is that, plus being on prednisone and having a low thyroid. plus, plus! We just do the best we can every day. Good luck to you with getting healthier little by little! The slower the better! That's definitely the way it's coming off for me!
