Hi everyone, I'm back to Sparkpeople after a couple of years away. I had a very successful weight loss during 2008, where I went from 207 down to 162. I maintained for about a year, but then life got ugly, and between losing my job, my boyfriend leaving for med school, and issues with my child, I have put it all back on over the past couple of years.
So, now I've gone up to 213. I'm 5'2" and desperately have to get myself back down, I just don't feel good about myself at all! I've tried half a dozen times to get that "willpower" back, with little success. But, I'm not going to give up. I'm here now, trying yet again to get back into my healthy habits and lifestyle. I felt very good at 160, was size 10/12, very nice curves and happy.
I know the secret for me to lose weight is to be accountable. Journaling my activity and food really kept me accountable to myself, so I am going to start doing that again.
