'Di' NW ON. Being defeated is often temporary, giving up makes it permanent. -Marilyn von Savant
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. -Kenneth Blanchard
Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, and try to follow where th
Welcome to our group. I understand what you mean about short people looking "out of proportion". Not only am I short, but I have lost 1 3/4" in my height in the last two years! Unfortunately, my weight didn't shrink. So, here we are on a great web site. Good luck!
God grant me the serenity to change the things I can, to accept the things I cannot change, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Hi, Courtney! to our Group. You are not alone. I'm 4'11", too. I'm 76, and it has never bothered me that I'm short. I used to be 5'1", but as you get older you lose some height. If you eat healthy and do the exercises recommended here, I'm sure that you will be feeling better about yourself. We have to do the best we can with what we have. I have lost 9-1/2 lbs. since 12/29. Don't despair.

I know what you mean about being taller to spread the portions about....4'11"....me too! Keep on doing all those good activities and be happy with what God gave you. We each have a special shape from God. You will get to the number with your determination. Just remember we are not made to look like a brushed up beauty queens photo. we are real women in short bodies that are beautifully and wonderfully made. have a blessed week end and welcome to the team!
Living Better Everyday.
Dream bigger than yourself.
I serve a BIG GOD Who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all I can ask or think.
ciao! My name is Courtney and I am 4'11". Not only am I under 5 foot tall, but I also have large curves (boobs, butt, hips) & for any one else that would be a blessing, but for my height, it's A CURSE! I have been trying with so-so effort before now to cure this, with no luck. Now that I'm married I've adapted a new life and started to lose weight and keep it off, the scale only keeps going down. Unfortunately, it just sticks on there pretty good, and sometimes I wish I was taller to portion out!
