Hello 2Crazyboys! I do watch what I eat and track my calories 12-1500. I exercise minimum of 3x per week but strive for every day. I know it took time to gain this week so I can't expect a miracle! I know it will come off in due time!!

Armygirl, I wish I was at 119 but I'm holding steady at 126. At least I haven't gained and I am losing inches. I haven't worked out in a long time so I think my body is liking the new muscles!!!

Welcome to the team. I think your goal is very realistic and sounds healthy to me. Do you watch what you eat? Count calories? Exercise? As long as you go about it the right way You will do great!

I know! You and others make me see that all is possible! The scale is now saying 119 - 114 was my "dream goal"! Now I can actually see myself smaller than 114. I love my energy level, my eating habits, my discipline, my body shape - everything is coming together nicely. I have goals to be toner, stronger, and more focused. I am very interested in helping others with their weight goals and am seriously thinking about courses in nutrition!

There is always a happy medium, middle-ground, compromise. Make good choices and be a great role model.

Lead by example.

You guys give me a lot of inspiration. At 4'11", my original goal (mostly due to being 41 yrs old) was 125. I am currently 121 and see a lot of room for improvement. I am pretty much letting my body figure out where to stop (I think the mid-teens would be nice and I can keep some curves.) I don't have the comparison you guys have of being slimmer before the kids because I was this weight or bigger before them.

There is always a happy medium, middle-ground, compromise. Make good choices and be a great role model.

Welcome to the group, Tracy! What you experienced is quite common but you're right - weight is relative to height and aiming for under 110 lbs is not at all crazy nor unhealthy... Do what feels right for you and give it your all!

You can do it!!! I was just under your starting weight and made it past 110. Like you, 102/104 was my prime weight in my 20's.

The emoticon actually read 104.5 this morning and I emoticon I know it won't last long though as I bounce up and down from 106 to 108, but I still emoticon

Hi, Tracy! emoticon to SparkPeople. I couldn't agree with you more. I'm also 4'11", and my doctor wants me to lose weight. Right now I'm 137 lbs. I'm 76 years old. My BMI is 27.7, and that is considered high. I have to weigh 119 lbs. in order to have a BMI of 25, which is what my doctor wants. Just listen to your doctor. At this site you will find all the assistance you need to reach your goal. Good luck!

Hi Tracy. 110 is certainly doable for someone of our height. I was 110 last year and gained a bit back but plan to be 110 by the end of next month. Good luck on your journey.

Hi my name is Tracy and I am 4'11"!!
I am so glad that I found this team. When I tell "tall" people that I want to weigh 110lbs they think I'm crazy!!! I have to explain that I am tiny and small framed so 110 is a VERY healthy weight for me. I weighed 102 before I had my 2 children so I think 110 is a great goal!!!!
