Do you weigh or measure your food? I found that when I "eye-balled" my portions, I went a bit over my calorie range. You really do need to stay within your range, not over or under. I also overlooked little things like condiments, coffee, milk in my coffee.
I'm also not losing weight as fast as I'd like to, but I AM getting healthier by exercising. Is your weight loss mandatory for the show you mentioned? Are your clothes fitting better, despite what your scale reads?
