Apparently my issue is that I have a terrible hormone imbalance. I was reffered to and endocrinologist because my obgyn discovered my fsh, lh and estrogen were at dangerously abnormal levels. I was explained that weign gain and/or problems losing weight are most common symptoms of hormone imbalances. As least we know what the problem is =) I'll begin a treatment next week which should regulate my body all around for the most part.
Preston, are you entering your cardio in SP? When you do, if you are exceeding the suggested amount for what you are consuming, SP will tell you this and provide a link to click.
Here you put in how much you are burning a week and it will change your calorie requirements. I hit a plateau for about 2 wks and when I started to eat more, then the scale started moving. However, I was so used to staying around 1200 calories, it was hard to go higher. So I would bounce around some.
Please check this to make sure you are consuming enough.

I know this from experience so believe me when I say you are not eating enough calories to lose weight. I know its a weird concept but its true. Your body goes into starvation mode and holds onto every single fat cell. It will actually consume muscle before fat if this continues. So eat up (as much as you can) and get your calories back into your healthy range. Hope you feel better soon!
I am about 12 lbs lighter than I was a year ago. I am definitely mixing up my workouts, my cardio is high intensity lasting about 30 min, plus light weight training. Portions are a considerably small, I eat less than all my friends and family and I'm NOT the lightest one.
I feel like I am obsessing way too much over this. My weight is all I think about and I feel like maybe I am screwing myself up mentally and not losing weight cause of stress, I don't know what to do anymore. Maybe something is wrong with my body? I dont know =(
Do you weigh or measure your food? I found that when I "eye-balled" my portions, I went a bit over my calorie range. You really do need to stay within your range, not over or under. I also overlooked little things like condiments, coffee, milk in my coffee.
I'm also not losing weight as fast as I'd like to, but I AM getting healthier by exercising. Is your weight loss mandatory for the show you mentioned? Are your clothes fitting better, despite what your scale reads?
BTW, what is the show? I'm just curious.

most people get TOO MUCH protein. you only need about .5g per pound of bodyweight, make sure you're VARYING your workouts, eating a BALANCED diet, and eating enough. how did you lose the weight initially?
I burn about 300 a day with cardio but I also lift light weights. That example was given to me by Spark but what I am trying to say is that I burn WAY more than what Spark reccommended and I still don't lose weight!
I don't think that 460 calories a week will be enough. Wouldn't you need to burn about 300 or so in a day??? I aim for about 350 a day through intense cardio. I am still struggling with the last 5 pounds or so but I found that that works for me.

Ok, I know I am not too overweight or anything. I am 22, 5'3 and i fluctuate between 130 and 135. No matter what I do, I can't lose the extra 20 lbs i've been trying to lose!

I consume about that many calories, low fat foods, mostly organic, I definitely burn well over 460 calories working out a week. It's been months and I am depressed because I feel like a little cow! I need to lose this weight in 2 months for a show! ahhh I am going crazy!
