'Di' NW ON. Being defeated is often temporary, giving up makes it permanent. -Marilyn von Savant
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. -Kenneth Blanchard
Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, and try to follow where th
Glad to have you on the team! You'll definitely find empathy for your situation from team members here. I'm like Frosparem - definitely an "apple" in shape. Even though I'm in the healthy BMI range, I have a bit of a "pudge" in the midsection. I'm keeping my focus on HEALTHY and not SKINNY - the 2nd I'll never achieve.

Welcome Gretche! - I am five foot and have lost 50 pounds. But the one place I would really like the weight to leave is my belly. Seems it is the last place my body wants to let go of the excess weight. So I share your pain. Spot training can help tone but the body decides where the fat is (genetics is involved) staying. Until we lose the fat layer the toned muscles won't show. Too bad we can't control where the fat is on our body, but such is life. Look at the parts of your body that you are happy with and focus on those. You can wear clothing that flatters your body type as well. Good luck on your health journey!

I have struggled for the past 3 years with losing an extra 10 lbs. I'm looking for support, since I don't get it from any of my family and friends.. (they all think I look fine). The problem is I am short, and petite, and used to always weight between 110-115. Now, I my weight goes between 124-126..
All of my weight settles in my upper arm & shoulder, and belly. I'm extremely self conscious over my arms. They make me look heavier than I am. I feel like the only one out there with this problem.. :(
