A lot of people kept telling me about Spark People. I think I tried it once a few years back and never really gave it a chance. I've been hearing a lot of good things about it though and am told some of the recipes are awesome. So I decided to give it a REAL try. I also decided to give my weight-loss a REAL try. That started Sept. 2011 at 160 pounds. I've currently lost 21.8, weighing-in at 138.2 and I've 18.2 left to lose to reach my goal weight of 120. Since November I've been taking a HIIT class (high intensity interval training) and I LOVE it. I have also been working with a Personal Trainer since November. I've lost over 10 inches and look forward to my next assessment. I ran my first 1/2 Marathon in December and I have another scheduled for October in London. I run 5K's regularly and will be participating in my first Mud Run on Mother's Day. I've come a long way and I've still a ways to go, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and I refuse to be stopped. I am planning to reach my goal or be within 5 lbs of it by July 4th 2012 - my personal Independce Day and I have HUGE things planned!
