I welcome you to our team, too. You are not alone in needing to lose 70 pounds. I've set my goal at 40, and if and when I get there, then I'm lowering it by 10s until I get to where I really want to be. emoticon Even if you can't walk, you can check in with us and let us know how it is going, and we'll be rooting for you! Leslie always says if you can't do everything that she does, just keep walking. emoticon Blessings to you! A sis in Christ, Pam

I've already had both hips replaced. All went well except that my left hip keeps dislocating (which is a very VERY big OUCH). It happened three times and my doc redid the left leg. Then it's happened three more times so now he's goign to redo it aGAIN....putting a different kind of joint in that will allow less mobility but be more secure. So all in all, this is my fourth hip replacement in two years

2 yrs ago my DH's 89 yr old Aunt had hip replacement surgery and did very well. She lived with us for 4 mths rather than going to rehab since she lives alone but she was able to live alone again. Hope you recover as quickly and as well! :)

Thank you for all the welcomes and for the belated birthday wishes.
I"m going in for another hip replacement on Jan 2nd so my Leslie Sansone days are limited but hopefully I will pick them up again as soon as I"m healed.

If you give up today, think of how much you'll regret it three months from now when you could be 15-20 pounds lighter.

hi...my name is Cynthia, I"m 50 (as of yesterday) and weigh 210 pounds. Three years ago I began at approximately this weight and did Leslie SAnsone for the first time in my life. I was in love (Not with Leslie, but with her program)....and I would say that it was mostly responsible for my 70 pound weight loss. However, after several major surgeries and years of illness and steroids, the 70 lbs are back and I need a refresher course. Unfortunately, I"m goign for another hip replacement on Jan 2nd so this return will be short lived before It is interrupted once again. However, I promise I will do my PT exercises and find an exercise program that is safe for me to do. And before too long, I'll be back, walkin off the pounds with you all.
