Hi all~I'm new to the group & sparkpeople. Joined a few days ago but have been working to lose weight for awhile. Been overweight since I was 12 yr old-have lost & gained a zillion times through-out the years. Finally giving up fad diets & focusing on a life style change-be to healthier all around-build muscle & tone up. I've lost 28 lbs. from my highest weight a year ago-I'm now 284 and starting to get serious about my new journey. I enjoy working out with Leslie Sansone walking dvds, especially come winter months here. Some other activities I'm finding I really love is weight lifting, resistance training, swimming, Tai Chi, Kick Boxing & Yoga.
Upon joining I set my 3 goals-which you can read more about on my blog here. And made a pinterest inspiration health board-which I am finding very inspiring already.
I look forward to sharing & supporting you all & hopefully along the way I'll be an inspiration as I know a lot of you will be for me.
