Hi there, I haven't posted on this team for awhile and just saw yours - welcome to the team! I used to have panic attacks until a psychiatrist put me on Paxil. Do you have medication to help? Paxil has worked well for both my anxiety & depression, but most people gain weight on it and lose interest in sex - two BIG BUMMERS. A doctor added Wellbutrin for me which has helped with the sexual side effect. I also am hypothyroid, and it has definitely made the weight issue more difficult, plus my thyroid levels have been very unstable for the 15 yrs, but seem to be getting better again. You can send me a note if you like, and tell me more about yourself and your panic attacks. emoticon charleee3

Yesterday I was able to get out into my yard and mow the grass; today I took a walk with my daughter past the places where the Panic started and all along where I walked when it was happening. I had some mild anxiety but no panic. It's progress! emoticon

Hello all! I just found this team; however I've been Sparking for a couple of months.
I've had Panic Disorder for 35 years and I had it under control in recent years. Yesterday whilst walking in my neighborhood I had a doozy of a panic complete with facial and hand cramping. I fight Agoraphobia every day and now I'm concerned that this may set back my quest to have a healthier life. I'm grateful to find a team that addresses itself to this particular issue
