There is even help for people with physical limitations!

Although I am not really disabled, my weight kept me from exercising much at first due to a sciatic nerve and a foot issue, but losing has most definitely helped my pain level and did not prevent me from losing. However, I did have to cut calories down to reflect a level of sedentary exercise. If I did exercise, I counted it as a bonus for burning calories.

Other bonuses to good, healthy, clean eating is clearer skin and less digestive problems.

Wiggle room on my weight! Getting consistent with exercise tipped the scales . . . in a good way~just don't think I need to lose any more--just get firm and fit!

Welcome to the group. This is a great place to meet people and find support. I am sorry about your back. I work in health care and see my coworkers struggle with back pain. My partner suffers from her own issues when it comes to that. Good luck.

I recently had back surgery to get rid of my sciatic pain that I dealt with for 2years.... and I also quit smoking about 5months ago. It was a 12week recovery for my back and Im currently still doing some PT to help strengthen my core abit.....

I used to be 260lbs but lost 110lbs 5years ago (went down 14 jean sizes with diet and exercise!) and kept it off till the quitting of cigs and the back surgery happend the begining of this past May...

Now Im finding it difficult without much support to get on track... I do get sore cuz of my back and I do have to be careful with certain activities.....

It just feels alot harder now that I have lower back issues....

I love hiking and walking outside t..and enjoy going to new places....

Id love to make a few friends and find the support I need with these new circumstances Im in..with people who GET IT and want what I want out of this.....


Also wondering If anyone knows any SAFE workout videos for someone with a slipped disc for toning....
