Hi everyone! I'm Keli from SC and I realized about a couple of months ago that my healthy eating has basically turned into clean eating and pretty much whole foods. I intend for this to change to 100% of the time, but still have quite a bit to learn. There are little things like coffemate and sweeteners, which I've reduced and replace with tea and honey. I enjoy crackers now and then, love red meat, etc, and I have a lot to learn about different grains. Mainly I like everything simple and clean, without the fuss. I love the crockpot, making my own soups, with a variety of fresh veggies and beans. One of my upcoming experiments will be a meatless soup or stew. We have adjusted to beans nicely, and I believe we won't miss the meat, and I'd like to incorporate a few meatless dishes as well. I guess we basically do that on salad nights during the warmer weather, using mainly pickled veggies for toppings, but other types of meatless dishes would be a good experiment too.
We are now plotting a new area for a veggie garden, in hopes we will one day be successful at growing our own veggies, and knowing they are clean.

Wishing you success Nick! I have been putting on weight over this past month. I too think it was falling off the clean-eating wagon. First I had to work a conference and eat whatever food was served to me - then Thanksgiving - and now another conference. I need to take control of my food intake - start bringing my food with me. I can't believe the junk that most Americans put in there body!!! It is truly frightening!!
Hi everyone my name is Nickie, I have been eating clean for almost two years. I luv to workout and have been consitantly doing that for 5 years now. my first year of clean eating I was religously dedicated and than my life starting changing and what I mean by that is i meet my bf and he loves to cook. Well for the last 6 months he has been doing all the cooking now dont get me wrong he uses real food and seasonings but he was also using ingredients that are not clean like butter, lots of oil any ways you get the point well I have put on 9 pounds and im not happy about it. so today I made up my own 30 day challenge to eat clean 100 percent for 30 days only allowing 1 treat meal a week if and thats a big if i have a craving. So there it is folks, I hope that this group will get me back on my toes and back in control. I will post all my meals on here for the next 30days and I hope to be a little slimed down by new yeas eve. Thanks for listening!!
