I am in the same boat as you too, realising that I have been eating alot of nasty stuff without really realising it and so I am trying to be more aware now of what I eat.

Hello all. Joined sparkpeople last week. So I am still learning how to surf this website. It's a little overwhelming, but I am getting there.

I am very interested in clean eating. I had some health issues last year. It was an eye opener to how important my health is. I started doing some research about eating healthy and realize I am putting crap in my body. Stuff that has no nutritional value what so ever and can be contributing to bad health. So I want to start cutting out the junk and eating foods that natural. It would also be great if along the way I dropped these 15lbs I need to lose.

So I am hoping this team will give me the help I need on this journey. Hopefully some great suggestions and some recipes would be wonderful too.
