Hi EBBKATE! Welcome to the team. The clean eating principles I follow are from Tosca Reno's book The Eat Clean Diet. She also has a website www.eatcleandiet.com/about_the_diet. as px and a blog both are helpful but her books really lay the details out clearly.
As for sparkpeople try not to get overwhelmed once you get the hang of this site you'll find it super informative and supportive.

I've dabbled with eating clean and as long as I stick with it I've had great success. Unfortunately, lately I have had a hard time committing to clean eating. As of today I am reconfirming and recommitting myself to the eat clean lifestyle and am excited to share it with so many of you. I look forward to all the recipes, tips and support!
