I'm Amy and I'm here because I'd like to make a commitment to eating more healthily. I'm actually in recovery from bulimia and learning what and when to eat is still a major struggle for me. I find that tracking calories tends to leads to me getting obsessed, especially when I see weight loss, and restricting which eventually leads to a binge. When I let myself eat what I want I end up going overboard on my 'treats' and bingeing anyway.
Sugar is a major trigger for me so I think eating clean will help me a lot. If I'm eating the right foods to nourish my body and I stick to a regular eating pattern of 6 small meals a day, I'm hoping that I will find my natural balance and the urge to binge will finally be gone!
