I've wanted to try cooler 1 for a while now... looks intense. Good luck with cooler 2... that looks way more do-able!
And PS... haven't tried bee pollen yet, but definitely will. I like weird / funky tasting things. lol

Yep it's a hard one thats why I just kinda stuck to the basic principles of it, still got great results too. Good luck with cooler 2!

That is good news about the pollen, god on you to try, try again:)

so 3 days into cooler one... not gonna happen for me. I think I was a little too gung-ho with that! and I really want to make this a life style so maybe 2 weeks before v-k i'll give it another shot but for now, i'm onto cooler 2.

good news!!! I finally figured out a way to use the bee pollen (yuck!) I use 1tbls pollen and 1tbls flax. add it to a greek yogurt and frozen whole strawberry/frozen mango smoothie. I've tried everything else and this is the only thing that will mask the taste and texture of it. but I have to say, it really does give you a ton of energy!! about an hour after drinking it, I felt like i'd taken a "fatburner" pill full of caffine but without the bad side effects. I would have just said forget about the bee pollen but I spent 15$ on it so I refuse to trash it.... I'm so cheap! hahaha

I do use flax seed that I grind in my coffee grinder.

Yeah I would just go ahead and do the plan omitting the bee pollen. I have my flaxseed daily and usually mix it with my protein shake or in a smootie, it's a little more disguised there, but for a treat I love to sprinkle it on a banana and sunflower seed butter:)

I don't think you have to use bee pollen. If I read it correct, she says to use flaxseed and bee pollen in your morning oats.... omgosh was it nasty! i bout it thinking i could get through anything but 4 bites while holding my nose and i was done. i'm going to try putting it in a smoothie or something i think.

I, too, am allergic to bees (and carry an EpiPen in my purse). I was hoping to do Recharged over my vacation next week with my daughter. Does it call for bee pollen through the whole book, would it be better for me to pick a different one of her plans?

I have done the plan but only for a week religiously, have followed the basic principles of it for about 3 weeks and definitely saw awesome results. I got down to 128lbs for Christmas, the plan really works well. My problem was transitioning back into maintenance eating, was really hard and gained the weight back. I don't do bee pollen because I am allergic to bees.
Good Luck!

Has anyone out there done this before? and If so, how was it?? and how do I mask the taste of this bee pollen??? emoticon
