Just START!! Once you begin to give yourself more nutritious food and get some exercise and increase your flexibility, you will start to feel better. I had forgotten what it meant to have a feeling of well-being...it is glorious and makes life oh so much better. Dive in and don't look back!!

Over the past 16-18 months I have lost 26 pounds. Not by dieting but changing the way I eat. It was gradual weight loss that I really have not noticed until this past fall. I didn't really start exercising until recently and now I feel great and want to do something every day. Take one day at a time. If you stumble, each new day is a do over.

I signed up to be a SparkPeople 4 days ago, and would like to introduce myself. My name is Susan, I'm 52 and am overweight by at least 35 pounds! I have no real motivation to lose weight, and I feel very sluggish and wonder "who gives a damn?". Any ideas on ways to get myself motivated would be appreciated!!
