I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.
I'm new too. I'm finding that, because I do all of the cooking, my family is "afraid" to complain about what it consists of. They don' even know they're on a clean diet. The trick here is to just do it and not talk about it to them, LOL My friends just complain that my skin is healthy and theirs...not so much. They think it's because I'm vegetarian. But if I attempt to tell them they no-no-no me because they are "NOT giving up meat!"
I am so excited that I found this team. Sometimes I feel very isolated from everyone else because of my diet, so it will be nice to be surrounded by other health nuts, lol. I have been eating clean with 100% commitment for about 3 months now. Mostly because I have food sensitivities and high sugar and fatty foods do not digest well for me. I bake most of the bread that I eat from scratch and eat mostly organic whenever possible. It is definitely going to be more cost efficient when I can get my vegetable garden going. It is so much easier to get my family to join me with a healthy diet in the summer ,when there are so many fresh fruits and vegetables that we can grow in our own garden. I think the fact that the kids help plant them makes it more appealing to them. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning more eating clean ideas.
