Thanks so much for your advice. I agree with you about the snack..what I did previously was spread out a meal and eat it longer or one item at a time, not saying it was right obviously i'm still struggling but your right about low blood sugar...it makes me shakey and want to eat.

I guess one thing I would say works for me, is to eat snacks - it helps me to keep my blood sugar even and prevents me from over eating. The just eat 3 meals and nothing in between thing doesn't work for me. But we are all different.

Hi everyone, I just joined this team and I'm super excited. I "ate clean" about 4 years ago for 18 months and in 8 months I lost 80 lbs. My eating consisted of no sugar or white or wheat flour, 3 meals a day and nothing in between. I also worked out alot. At least 5-6 days a week for an hour or so and then strength training as well. I also dealt with some emotional stuff as well so it all went hand in hand. I have had a really hard time getting back on track ever since I quit eating that way so I'm hoping sparkpeople and the teams can help me. If anyone has any advice on how I should start my eating plan I'd love to hear it and I'm open to all suggestions. Thanks very much and I look forward to getting to know you.
