That's exactly where I would start (Thanks Tia). Get the "Eat Clean Diet" book by Tosca Reno. Read it. It's a colorful book w/ plenty of pictures and it's easy and fun to read. There are even a few recipes. I haven't even been to a whole foods store. All you have to do is basically shop the perimeters of your grocery store getting your lean meats, veggies, fruits, nuts, lentils, etc. My local grocery store (Kroger) has a natural foods section and I picked up some ground flaxseed, brown rice, and some organic salad dressing. Everything else, I got from the perimeter of the store. Clean eating doesn't REQUIRE you to go to a whole foods store; however, there may be some special items that your grocery store does not carry that you may want to try.
