Welcome and good luck. New year, new beginnings. You can do this and you've come to the right place. having the support and help from your husband is such a tremendous benefit. It's always easier when you're surrounded by the good habits already. have fun with it!

Good for you! It's great that your husband already has good habits, sometimes that the hardest issue to deal with. Good luck (to me, too)!

I'm changing my ways and crossing the abyss. My husband has already done this and made his journey 2 years ago with clean eating 2 years ago and lost over 75 pounds and has kept it off along with exercise. I unfortunately didn't join in when he did it. I was in a state of depression at that time and lacked confidence in myself that I could actually stick to it and actually lose any weight or manage the lifestyle. I was wrong. It was all in my head.
I have migraines and after reading a little about clean eating it will be very beneficial for me with the migraine health issue. Hopefully it will help reduce the amount of migraines I get so I can reduce the medicine that I take. Also, the other benefits I see my husband gets from eating clean- the glowing skin, energy, weight loss, muscle tone, and feeling good all over and being healthy all around. He seems to never get sick and I always get every bug that travels around the neighborhood.
I know that this is a lifestyle change; not a diet, and that is what matters most. From the age of 13 I have had an eating disorder (both bulimia and anorexia) therefore, dieting is a taboo issue for me. Eating the right way and in a healthy manner is what I need best. Eliminating all the junk and keeping it that way would help stabilize that as well. My psychiatrist and thereapist both have talked to me about this before as well.
Thank you for taking time to read my intro. I look forward to meeting all of you. It will be great to learn from those of you who have done this for a long time. And, it will be great to be a supporter on the forum as well to the many others here like me who are also just starting out.
