I am currently reading the Eat-Clean Diet Workout and Tosca Reno goes into a lot about how to do the workout when you are a beginner and when you have a lot to lose.
She says that for those that have a lot to lose that cardio is important and you need to do it 4-5 days a week and weights 2-3 days a week.
I am also heavier than most the women that are really into lifting and body building. I'm doing it to build muscle and get toned. But I need to lose about 50-60 lbs. before my muscles are going to show much.
So please join me. I'm sure there are others with more to lose hiding out here also.
Lifting weights along with cardio and eating clean is how we are going to get the bodies we want.
