I've been eating pretty clean for several years now. I was raised to eat this way- I guess coming from a European background with all the home cooking...loads of soups and vegetables and common sense (training) helped shape my future.
HOWEVER, I commited to losing lots of JUNK (additives, preservatives, sugars...you get the idea) about 6 mos ago.
My weight loss is slow going. I don't seem to care of late. Why?
Becasue I feel fantastic. I look like I've lost 20 pounds and people tell me this ALL the time. I know it's hard to beleive but eating clean natural foods in as close a pure state as possible flushes away fat and toxins.
I took things seriously after doing a few fruit and vegetable flushes(jay robb.com) and felt like someone injected me with b-12. I felt good, I looked younger, my skin was full and vibrant...
Anyhow... after about 6 mos of seriously cutting out toxins, I can testify that eating clean has also eliminated mood swings and overall feelings of weary, depression...
I simply feel great every morning when I rise.
It's that simple.
