Welcome Jen, I'm a fellow Diet Coke addict.. I'm going to kick the poison soon!! My hubby loves to cook and eat too, It makes it difficult. It's alot eaiser to eat clean as a family. In a perfect world. Best of luck to you!!
Welcome Jen! I just started reading the Eat-Clean book and am gradually changing my eating habits. Sounds like you have a good background on eating healthy. Please blog and let us know what u r doing. I think I can learn lots from you! Good luck in your journey!

If you need any eating clean tips, there's quite a lot of info here on the team forum, but you seem to have a really solid background in eating clean already!
I'm 31, married, mom to 2 boys(12 and almost 5 mths), and sick of being overweight. I'm really looking forward to getting my Tosca books in the mail(from amazon)so I can get some good recipes and lots of info. I'm going to try to eat clean in the meantime though cause I have the basic idea. I'm just sick of all the chemicals and preservatives that are in our foods. I think they all really screw with our heads and our bodies. My mom used to be a major health nut and all of our meals were healthy, we drank water, and we got some exercise. I used to be really healthy and looked great...and felt great! After I got married(7 years ago) things went downhill. My hubby was raised totally different and he really only eats processed foods that are full of fat and calories and not much else. So, I started eating that way also and have packed on around 65 lbs. in those 7 years. I'm totally addicted to diet coke and that alone makes me mad. I crave it and get headaches when I don't drink it, then after I have it I crave sweets ALL DAY LONG, and don't feel like doing much of anything. I'm just tired of it all. I had my last diet coke yesterday morning and I have a splitting headache now but i'm sure it will go away in a day or so(arghh), lol. I made a smoothie for breakfast using skim milk, yogurt, frozen fruit(unsweetened, organic), and a scoop of vanilla protein powder. It was really tasty and i'm still not hungry or craving much of anything...so that's a plus. I'm going to roast some chicken breasts with veggies and herbs a bit later and also go to the grocery to re-stock my kitchen with healthy 'clean' foods. I need to figure out some kind of exercise routine though and actually do it. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here.
