hi everyone! i've been a spark member off and on for almost a year but i'm brand new to this team. i go by the name daisy and i gotta say i'm a pretty clean eater. i work at a health food store that sells only natural and/or organic foods. (and i get a discount on everything. yay!) my diet consists of primarily vegetarian with fish occasionally. but even with those two things, i still find that i struggle and would like to eat super-duperly clean. eating mostly vegetarian i can tend to get into the mostly carb trap of pasta and potatoes. (oh mashed potatoes...how i love thee!) and even health food stores have junk food. sure the chips may be made with olive oil and fresh twigs of rosemary but they are still chips all the same. and yeah, okay, so the chocolate is fair-traded and saving endangered species...but alas, it is STILL chocolate. maybe that polar bear is now safe but my butt sure isn't! :D so, i would like to hone my clean-eating skills and try not to let stress and fatigue get in my way of cooking and preparing all natural and as unprocessed as possible, yummy, nourishing foods.
