I joined Sparkpeople a couple months back, and was impressed at how much it had to offer. My boyfriend and I were trying to get into better shape. I am 19, 5'9 and 135-139 pounds (depending on the day) and have a hard time staying consistent with working out. I would like to get down to 132 or 128. It is such a close goal, but I can never seem to attain it.
I guess I just want to get more involved in the community and teams, so that I can build up a support system and get some motivation. I'm majoring in journalism, and thought it would be fun to have a weekly column all about health and fitness and how it relates to college students - but I want to practice what I preach. If anyone would like to help me get more involved, have any tips about staying consistent with excerise, or knows anything going on in the Vincennes/Evansville area, I would appreciate it!
