Welcome. I know Lily will bring lots of love and light into your life.
My positive affirmation, said many times during the day:
I am happy, healthy, slender and prosperous.
Dogs make the best personal trainers. I was a cat person for 30 years before I got my own puppy Marley.. LOL now I have 5 dogs. So now I really have to keep moving. Welcome to the group. Lorraine
Hi to you too! Welcome to our group. You will love Lily and she will love you unconditionally. That's just how poodles are! I grew up in a house with a variety of pets;one of them being a black teacup poodle, but my very first personal poodle was a toy golden apricot named Sugar. Then Strudel, my beautiful teacup apricot poodle blessed my life. Now I have my wonderful little Zoey. She's a rescue, but we actually rescued each other. She's not apricot, and not a full blooded poodle, but she's the love of my life and I'm blessed to have her.
At any rate, we just wanted to welcome you!

Oh I'm so excited for you! Potty training will be a little hard during the winter months, but as you know, Poodles are so smart, it won't take long!
Welcome to the Poodle Club!!!

I'll admit I'm not that good about using SparkPeople, but perhaps I can start using it a little more consistently now that I'll have a poodle to walk with me. I've been owned by 4 different poodles over the years, two my parents had when I was growing up and the two my parents got after the first two died. Just yesterday I decided it was time to get one of my own, so I will be a poodle mom to Lily, a toy apricot. She's living in Illinois right now and will be arriving to us in November.
I'm excited, even though she's a little smaller and a little younger than I had hoped to get. We'll be doing a lot housetraining and walking during the cold months, I'm afraid! My son is just beside himself happy - the two that my parents have now were with him from day one. He's always had a poodle in his life.
Best wishes to everyone...
