Welcome. Yep Maggie loved her baths too. She is very jealous that her canary brothers get a bath every day. hahahaha

Welcome!!! My little teacup Poodle knows when I TOUCH the cheese bag in the fridge. I have tested it. I will make a small crinkly sound. very very tiny sound. she will come FLYING out of the bedroom with her nose wiggling trying to sniff it out! LOL!!!

April does not like baths though. That would be Maggie and I think maybe Tara!!

I had to laugh reading the posts. Words we have to spell at our house are: "walk", "bed" and especially "bath". Rowdie loves baths and often sits in the bathtub, so we have to be careful not to say the word or he thinks he is getting a bath and is SUPER disappointed when he doesn't get one.

He goes to everyone in the house for cheese. There are times when I have to say no. Sometimes he gets so excited that he hyperventilate, when he see it. He is just so lovable.

emoticon emoticon emoticon SWILLIS and Dijon. I am currently owned by my poodle mix (probably with shih tzu), Tara. I've had several miniature poodles previously, and a toy poodle who was the runt of Cleo's litter. All have loved cheese, though they don't get it much. Tara says I've got to tell Dijon about the poodle talk thread.

Best wishes and hope to be hearing more from you,

Jane and Tara.

Welcome SWILLIS and Dijon. We'd love to see a pic of Dijon on your profile.

My toy poodle, Maggie, is old enough now that she even knows some spelled words - honestly, can't sneak a thing past her. Poodles are really somthing, aren't they? You may just have to make up a word until Dijon figures that one out too!

Sounds like Dijon might want to share his thought on the thread where the poodles chat: www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_mes

Welcome to the team!

OH YES - I have the same issue with Twilite. We can not say it (even say mozzerella or american because she knows it is cheese). She is the same with milk. My problem is because she is a service dog she goes shopping with me and refuses to leave the cheese department if I do not have some in my cart. She smells around the outside of the cart and will sit and stay if there is no cheese in it. Then before I get home she pulls out the package from the bag and hands it to me. So now I have the cashier bag it seperate and I place it in my purse. But I know this is her MEGA reward and she will do anything for a peice of cheese (good for training purposes).

Hello, Just joined the team. I own a toy poodle, his name is Dijon and he is very smart. My poodle love cheese so much, that we can not say it, we have to spell it. Does anyone else have this problem? emoticon
