Way to go on losing weight! Welcome! My hubby is vegetarian. I'll occassionally go meatless. I hope to hear more from you and learn about your baby.

Welcome, and congrats on the weight loss. Tara says she loves cleaning up after vegetarians at (non-vegetarian) restaurants....
Hope that you will find time to post, just to say hi soon, we are anxious to meet you & your baby(s). In the meantime,

Good to 'see' ya again. Post when you can, but you are always part of the team.
Congrats on the 6 pounds. WHOO HOO!
My positive affirmation, said many times during the day:
I am happy, healthy, slender and prosperous.
I have a SIL and two neices who are vegetarians. They vary in degrees though--One eats shrimp and tuna; one eats eggs and cheese; one is a full fledged vegan.
I'm none of the above but could easily be a pesatarian or a pollo-pesatarian. (That's a person who either eats fish and veggies or fish, fowl, and veggies.--I can live without red meat.)
Whenever I''m tempted to eat something I shouldn''t, I remember the following: "Don''t eat for the moment''s pleasure, for when that moment''s gone, the consequences will stay with you, from that moment on."
I'm here. Sort of. I think. Well, maybe. I know I haven't been around enough for most of you to know whether I'm even s'pozed to be, but I have read your posts and enjoyed and benefited from them. Just haven't had time to post myself. I have done it again and accepted more stuff to do--teaching an evening class in addition to my day job--so I now have 12 pounds of potatoes (stuff to do) to stuff into an 8-pound bag. Just know I'm enjoying you all, and eventually I'll show up. In the meantime, I went vegetarian this summer and I've lost nearly 6 pounds!! Feel great!
