Welcome to you and your standard. This is definitely the friendliest group out of all the groups I participate in, so you will definitely enjoy being here. Guess that means that all poodle people are nice. I have an almost 14 year old mini poodle. He is the best companion! Have a great day, mitejoe.
I am so glad to find a poodle club. Mom to 4 standards. and one temporary toy. i had toys since i got married shortly after my first child was born out last toy died. and when our kids where about 4 ~ 5 years old we got our first standard female. She is so good with our kids. after a year we added a male. who does 4-H with my youngest. we had a planned litter of 8 and kept the only apricot boy. who is a joy to us. and have added another apricot female and of course now have a total of 4. I cant speak highly enough of the breed. they are truly family dogs. they even remember the other members of our extended family like grandma who lives far way and visits maybe twice yearly. ok better hop off soap box.. lol Peggy

Hi everyone, I actually have 2 shelties but I am considering a poodle as my next dog. My friend had 2 poodles (one recently died at 15) & I think they are great. I'm looking for a smart dog that will be good at Agility - & one that doesn't bark and shed so much. Input please ... Jo
Hi..... I'm Tracey and new to SP and glad to see a poodle club! I have a 2 year old energetic standard poodle. He loves to run and keeps me active with daily walks. He's my first poodle...... and I have lots of questions about them! I'll post some pictures on my sparkpage. Oh..... and I have 5 children, and a granddaughter as well!
