LINDSEYDRU, DEBBYFROMMT, and CHOC, thanks for the welcome! I ride on an older low-end Trek mountain bike. Looking to get a new one soon. Been looking at Cannondales and Specialized. I ride old rail trails, dirt roads, back country roads and will now venture into real mountain biking (beginner level, of course).

I love to bike too! I ride a 77 Raliegh Grand Prix but have been saving for a new pretty road bike! Any suggestions? See you on the Deck!

Hi, and welcome to the outdoor people team! You'll find most of us "hanging out" on the Happy Hour on the Deck thread... Join us there for lots of fun and sharing outdoor adventures ( and sometimes misadventures, LOL )

Lots of us kayak... I have a 9.5 ft perception kayak... Perfect size for inland lakes and streams (plus weighs less than 40 lbs, so easy for me to carry or hoist up on top of my car for transport.)

Just keep swimming!

Never give up!

Hi! I'm new to the team and love the outdoors. I'm addicted to bike riding, love to run and hike, and looking forward to learning how to kayak. Presently I am doing the research prior to purchasing my kayak. Since I'm a beginner, I plan to venture into calm waters. I'm 55+ in great health and have been a Spark member since 2010. Visit my SparkPage! I look forward to hearing from you about your adventures!
