Halloween candy is tough to resist! I was worried that we didn't buy enough since we are in a new neighborhood, so we weren't sure how many kids would show up. We overestimated and now we have leftovers. My husband likes to buy only the chocolate miniatures since he doesn't want to be stuck with candies that he doesn't like. Unfortunately, I like most of them too. He is keeping them in the garage, so at least I have to think twice about making the trek out to the freezing cold garage. I'm trying to limit myself to one a day. And I also track them too. emoticon

Wow, off the crutches, that a big step!
I'm back to work after the Sandy storm closed our office. I was perfectly on track at home and no socializing, but now I'm back in the world, everyone brought in halloween candy they didn't give out because of the hurricane. I'm having some candy, but tracking it too.

Hi APRILNYC,
Thanks! emoticon Good luck to you too! Now that I am tracking consistently, I've also noticed that snack time is where I also tend to go overboard unless I'm paying attention to what I'm choosing for my snack. I am currently recovering from foot surgery and as of last Tuesday, I started walking without my crutches. I'm looking forward to being able to do some exercise in a few weeks. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Healthynewpage,
Good luck leaving 130 ville.
I have been here a long time, have to focus on going in the right direction.

My focus now is having healthier snacks available at all times, and doing some kind of workout everyday at home.

Hi! I'm currently passing through 130-ville. I've been in 130-ville for a while and working hard to go back to 120-ville. I haven't seen 120-ville in about seven years and have missed being there. I'm hoping to get to know some fellow 130-ville members. Maybe we'll all end up in 120-ville together. I've come to the conclusion that I've been deluding myself all these years that calorie counting wasn't necessary. It was only not necessary when I was running three miles or more each day. Now that I've been sidelined for the past few years with a foot injury, I haven't been able to get back to my healthy weight. Any time I go out to eat with my family and/or friends I would gain and have a hard time losing. So anyway, that's me. Looking forward to getting to know you all. emoticon
