That is awesome. When I leave the Air Force I would love to own a bakery. When I am now I have learned so many Arabic desserts that some would bound to be present. Until then I just have to settle for just baking for my coworkers. Last night's project involved chocolate leaves and candied rose petals which for me was very time consuming, but fun. I am so happy with the results.

Hello, I just joined too. I hope you don't mind if I just tag on to your thread. What kind of baking do you want to learn? I have done basic baking most my life and was even a baker for a while, but only just got into it in the past two years. If all goes to plan I even have a baking project for tonight.

If you are a runner, it doesn't matter how far or how fast. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run." J Bingham

Hi Everyone!!!! My name is Alexis. I used to bake with my mom when I was younger and loved it. Since I moved out and got married, I am getting back into baking and am starting from ground up. I am looking forward to meeting everyone in this group and learning as much as I possibly learn. Happy baking everyone!!
