I am new to SparkPeople and I love to cook, bake, collect cookbooks, collect recipes and collect aprons. I enjoy doing everything about food. My weight loss journey began 2 1/2 years ago weighing in at 350 lbs. I now weigh, as of this morning, 209 lbs. I am looking forward to the next rung of the pounds of the 190's. I am looking forward to this type of teams in anticipation of finding new friends and new food & cooking ideas.

I'm Lauren, and a baker in training. I'm at university right now, plan on attending a culinary university after, and work through Disney's culinary college program to expand my baking knowledge. My ultimate goal (not weight loss related) is to own my own successful bakery. Among my friends I am considered a "baking snob". So glad to have found a baking team! =D Good luck to everyone here.
