Yes that WT spoke to me like if was written just for me. I am very grateful for the situation I do have and the WT reminded me of that. It was actually hard to sit through the meeting. I was holding back tears of joy and saddness. There were many encouraging comments made and although they weren't necessarily directed at my own situation they touched my heart just the same. I pray that will be my husband will one day take the truth. I am sure Jehovah is working on him.
Yesterdays WT was made for you then, wasn't it. It is hard when you don't have you mate in the Truth. You have done a great job though with your kids. We cane into the Truth after we were married but it doesn't always work with your kids.
Pop over to our May thread and check out the experiences and illustrations thread too.
Welcome Simone to the team! My name is Theresa (Phoenix, AZ). Looking forward to the interchange of encouragement here. I love your last comment as it reminded me of last Sunday's WT, and how Jehovah reminds us to reach out to ones in divided households. As well, as acknowledging that for those spouses who do not oppose their mates, their kindness is noted. I just had a sister whose recently lost her husband who was not in the truth, and although he didn't take to the truth he never stopped her. That article brought her comfort.
Thanks for sharing that with us! Your sister, Theresa
Goal 166 lbs Married 12 years Mother 3 girls Grandmother 2 girl
That is heartwarming news! I live in a spiritually divided home. I took the truth after I married. My daughters are both baptised which I count as some of the greatest blessing Jehovah has given me. My son, well, he is young and not sure of many things but does attend meetings and we study as much as we can without irritating my husband.
It is fantastic to have a place to disucuss spritual things which I can't discuss easily at home. I love my husband, and he is a kind, reasonable person but he doesn't have the same appreciation for all things spiritual. It means I need to be careful how often and how much I speak about these things. It is so good to find people with a common interest!
Simone, welcome to the team. We like to have spitirual goals and boy, can we ever go on about our Spiritual feasts and FS experiences so feel free to add them to our monthly/daily post. We have a new theme every month.
Thanks for the encouragement. I really like how there are spiritually related team goals. Such a good thing. We just had our CO visit which always builds me up. Seeing all these goals encourages me to want to strive harder spritually.
WELCOME, Simone! So happy to have you with us. Hope we can supply that encouragement and support that you need and desire! We are all working towards getting ourselves healthy and active. We look forward to getting to know you! Your sister in Tennessee!

I am so glad to find you here on SP. I am new to the site as of 10 days ago. I sure wish I had found SP sooner. I could have saved a small fortune on weight loss programs.
I made my goal last October and stayed at goal unitl this January when I slacked off. Now I'm up 8 +- lbs. I'm looking for encouragement and to find balance. To balance my spiritual needs, my family responsibilities, a full time job and of course still find a little time to take care of me.
I know I will find the support and encouragement I need to get those few pounds off and find the balance I really need to have in my life.
