Hello Grooving, emoticon

I hate the fatigue, pain & weight gain. I have Fibro, Chronic Fatigue syndrome & scoliosis and I hate them all equally. emoticon They all cause me too much pain, too much fatigue, too much loss from my family & life in general (due to napping to try to feel just a little better) and often times make me want to give up on life. Oh yeah, all of us are really lucky to have all these medical problems (sarcasm).

It does not happen everyday, but I have found that if there is a part of the day for me that I actually have even a little bit of energy, it would be anywhere from late morning to late afternoon. Usually, if I have any energy at all during the day, it is only a 2 or 3 hour period. I do not do well in the early or mid morning and usually from 4:00 PM on I am quickly going down hill. I do not like it, but that is the truth of the matter.

Sometimes I am able to lay down for a nap, which seems to help a bit with the pain/fatigue. But only for about 15 to 20 minutes after I get up. Seems that once my feet hit the floor, my body is saying "oh no you don't, were not gonna allow you to get up and work".

I don't know why, but I am almost ALWAYS thinking about food. I hate it. But it is there. I try to keep myself busy, but as you know, that is hard to do with fibro, CFS & Scolosis.

It's nice to find a group of folks that deal with Lupus AND Fibro. Aren't we lucky (sarcasm)
I'm not really new to Spark, but I just recently started using it in earnest.
I hope to find some 'buddies' so we can help keep each other stay motivated.

Fatigue is the hardest symptom for me to deal with. I'm hoping to learn some better coping mechanisms besides eating when I'm not able to stop what I'm doing to take a nap.

I look forward to chatting with everyone.
