Jan, are you using the nutrition page? I track my calories, sodium and other things on there, it sure helps keep me honest. I've been keeping my sodium around 1000mg a day, it's not that hard once you get used to it. I make most of our meals from scratch, even my bread, that is why I can keep it low.

My name is Jan, I live on the coast of Northern CA, I have Hypertension, have had it for years, it has started to create some other problems, like Chronic Kidney Disease. My kidney doctor also treats hypertension and has gotten my numbers down to almost normal, he told me to try the DASH diet so that I would cut way back on the sodium. I started that diet today and did real well, hope I can keep it up. I found this team and hope it helps me stay on the right track.
