Thanks for the welcomes (s). I appreciate your help and direction as I start this new journey. I don't think it's going to be too hard. I just need to learn to look at sodium content on things as well as calories and fat, which is what I ususually do.

Welcome Cobabies! I just read up on your disease. It sounds like something like you can manage. Salt reduction makes sence. At first you will crave salt but soon you won't miss it. The thing to watch for is packaged foods. I found lowering salt helped me lose weight. I am doing this to lower blood pressure.
