That's a good start - tracking your nutrition, to get an idea of what you are taking in. You will learn a lot. And you're off to a good start by walking for exercise. It' makes up the bulk of my excercise during the week as I spend a lot of time walking to and from bus stops.
Joining message boards of similar interests and goals - like this one - can be a big help too. Lots of resurces here and teammates that can help out and offer support.
Today I started tracking my daily nutrition on the Spark People website. I want to work toward loosing 100 pounds over the next 8-12 months. I am hoping that daily tracking will help keep me motivated to reach this goal. I have been a yo-yo dieter over the past 12-15 years. I am anxious to start some walking for exercise. I usually can do well with the eating part but really struggle to get motivated to exercise. I am hoping that the message boards will give me inspiration to do what I know I am capable of.
