Know what it's like. Lost 90 and gained back 40, and have lost the same 10 pounds over and over again.

For me when I am successful is to actively track everything I eat - the good, the bad, and the ugly. Make sure you are measuring everything to ensure accurate tracking of what you eat.

Set up your nutritional tracker to track the sodium and cholesterol. When I stay on track for the big 4 and keep my sodium and cholesterol intake low is when I have the best success. Anyway those are the benchmarks that work for me

Take a look at some of the threads on this team page. You'll find lots of ideas. Sparkrecipies is a good place to find some healthier versions of many things that you enjoy now.

Hang in there. emoticon

In 2007 I made a goal to lose 50 lbs in 50 weeks for my 50th birthday. I lost 60 and felt great. Continued to lose in 2008 for a total of 80 lbs. I maintained my weight while getting fit, working out at the gym 4-5 times a week. In 2009 I was downsized after a 20 year career. I was down, stressed, angry and depressed for over 18 months. I slowly have been gaining weight. Now with 20 lbs up I need to shake up my metabolism and get this weight off. Have been back to the gym and watching my food intake again. But have not noticed any weight loss. So am reaching out for some new ideas on how I can get this weight off and feel good again.
