Welcome to the team Kathleen! I, too, have had problems with swollen extremities. It's very necessary for me to watch my sodium intake, increase fluid consumptions, & move through out the day. I'm doing so much better with the advice & tips from this team & also the 10K team (dedicated to getting 10,000 steps in a day). This has been so helpful to keep sodium in check & just move every 20-30 minutes for at least 3-5 minutes. It's a little more difficult on work days.
Hope you find our little team as wonderful as I do!

Be careful when you pass judgement on another. Life teaches us lessons in harsh ways when we are mean to others.
Hi Kathleen I find it hard to track all my sodium intake.
I'm sorry to hear about your ankles being swollen, that has to be hard on you.
I am on a low-sodium diet due to Meniere's disease - fluid of the inner ear.
Wishing you all the best!
Every time I rely on Jesus He never lets me down.

i'm currently using less that a thousand mg. of salt per day. so if i eat something for lunch then i have to watch what i eat for dinner. i currently watching how much salt is in everything on the market from bread to butter all has salt in them. i've had swollen ankles now for over two years now and trust me it isn't any fun.
