Hello. I am new to this team and even though I started a profile on Sparkpeople less a year ago, I hadn't done anything with it until a week ago.
I recently found out that I have high blood pressure and was put on medication. I am having a horrible time keeping my salt intake down. I understand dieting and eating fewer calories and such, but lowering the salt intake is all new to me. I am just starting to learn just how much salt is in the foods that I have been eating. I am hoping that by being a part of this team I will become more educated and learn how to keep my salt intake under control.
