It is so tough getting back with the program I was on, here during the Holidays. I'm getting ready for 2 of my granddaughters and their families to spend 3 or 4 days with us for Christmas and all the other Christmas things going on, I have ditched the exercise for now and just trying to eat right.
Well I did it, I took a break from SP for 6 months and gained back almost all the weight I was caring around in 2008. I gained 17 pounds and 17.25 inches to be exact. All because I had this STUPID thought. Who cares anyway at my age. WRONG!!! I care, I feel worse than I did when I was lighter in the 160's.
By this time (if I had stuck with it) I would be at my goal weight and into those size 11/12 jeans I have been hanging onto for years, just cause I paid $50. a peace for them.
Oh well, it time to get on with it and start all over AGAIN...

I had my first Callanetics experience at 9-10 years old (back in the 80's!) when my mom brought the cassette tape home. Being an active kid, I wasn't really in need of the exercise program but I appreciated how calm and relaxed the whole process made me. I went looking for the program again (this time on DVD) in an attempt to cure some insomnia issues I was experiencing. It didn't help so much with the insomnia but it did start to whittle my hips and tone my stomach very quickly. Due to some extended travels, I fell off the wagon and as summer approaches, I'm really like to get back into the habit.
What motivated you to take on a healthier lifestyle?
I was married last June and seem to have put on several "marriage pounds." My clothes aren't fitting the way I'd like them to.
What are your goals for Callanetics?
Ultimately, I want to feel comfortable in my clothes, including the curve-hugging dresses. I'd like to work Callanetics into my already existing exercise routine 3x/week.
What diet are you following?
I eat a Vegan diet 99% of the time. I was a bit militant about it for the first 5 years I was a vegan but have relaxed a bit in the last few and will eat a bit of food made with dairy at a dinner party or while traveling in other countries. I don't eat meat at all.
What is your favorite exercise?
Favorite... that's a good way to put it I appreciate the stomach and leg exercises, because they give me the results I'm after.

I own/operate a candy company and spend much time surrounded by diet-busting confections. I'm Chamorro. My family is from the island of Guam.
