Thanks a lot for your response.I am so sorry for your losses as well.Hope we both have a healthier and happier 2013. It is really helpful!I would definitely ask for HCG injection this time. I just have a doubt,my HCG was not doubling with this pregnancy, so if I take HCG hormone from outside, it would definitely mock the normal HCG but in anyway my embryo will not be producing it.So how is that going to help?Would it cause an unhealthy pregnancy to grow further? I was taking 75mg of ecosprin tablets and no blood thinner injections.I would discuss with her on this as well, to get me tested for any clotting issues. Thanks again for your input!
I have infertility problems as well, I take long to conceive, so God knows how long I am going to take again.I heard we get more fertile after a miscarriage, but yet to test the same for myself. My doctor told me to wait for one cycle.
I am not sure if we have the concept of ER in India, but now I am seeing an infertility specialist, and she is good.Getting genetically tested is not a big deal over here. You can go to a center yourself and get tested.Charges are also quite low as compared to US/UK.So we do not need a medical insurance in general and can bear the costs ourselves.
I would love to PM you!We both seem to be on same boat, and I know how you feel like. I know we can never get our babies back but getting a healthy LO can definitely fill the void! Thanks for being such a support, I needed it a lot!

CHATTERJESIS: God, I am SO so sorry for your loss and to read all this. You sound like a mirror image of myself, actually. I have the same medical issues and am currently trying for a 3rd time after my 2nd loss in Sept. We did all the genetic tests and everything was normal for genetic tests. Because I had a copy of one gene mutation, they have me on Lovenox and the baby aspirin. Were you on any injectable blood thinner or did they only prescribe the baby aspirin?
This is what my doc has me on: baby aspirin, metformin, synthroid (very low dose and I have to fight to get this script since I only have a fam and short personal history w/ thyroid disorder as well as having a high thyroid antibody count. My thyroid hormone levels were normal, but because I'm high risk, I got them to prescribe a low dose of the med.), HCG (after pregnancy is confirmed--this is to keep my hormone levels HIGH in case it is a hormonal deficiency that is causing the MCs), progesterone (3 days after O) and the Lovenox. So yeah, I'm going to be on a ton. The HCG could be the key or even the Lovenox. Once HCG level starts to drop--this is what will cause the pregnancy to fail.
I think the only 2 that I'm on that you didn't seem to be on are the Lovenox (blood thinner) and the HCG. Perhaps you can mention the possibility of taking these to meds to your doc the next time? HCG is the actual pregnancy hormone, btw, so the HCG injections is like hormone replacement therapy, of sorts. Blood work should confirm if you have a clotting disorder (or are at risk for one like I am) and if your doc should have you on an anti-coagulant. I had about 15 vials taken at the fertility clinic I am being seen at, currently. This is how they were able to determine all that I am currently at risk for and it is how they ultimately came up with this stringent Rx regimen for me.
Do you have a specialist you could see? (Reproductive Endocrinologist) Or, will your regular OB/GYN be willing to run all these tests for you (incl. the genetic tests?)
Sorry..this was a lot of info. I truly feel for you, as I went through 2 losses last year within 9 months with NO explanation or obvious causes. I'm praying for all of us to get things figured out and on the track to a health pregnancy this year! Take care and feel free to private message me for more info, if you like.

I am going through my 2nd miscarriage, my first miscarriage was 5yrs back(MMC at 9 weeks).Myself and my husband then decided not to try for a year or so as we were not prepared mentally and financially. Then we were trying since 2011 beginning, my cycles were totally abnormal, due to hypothyroid and mild PCOS.We tried 2 Clomid cycle (one IUI) and one femara cycle, all these time I ovulated but never got pregnant. My thyroid was under strict medication, and was taking Metformin as well.In November we found out our 2nd pregnancy (natural One) after long ttc.We were thrilled. My doctor suggested progesterone/folic acid/metformin/estrogen/aspirin suppliments also adjusted my thyrox dosage as thyroid levels got changed with pregnancy. But nothing helped, I was diagnosed with blighted ovum on 26th Dec.Got Misoprostol to miscarry. I am still bleeding, she is going to scan me on 5th to confirm everything was passed. I feel so devastated!Taken off from office for few days, but I am really dying to get pregnant again. Not sure how long it is going to take again! Doctor suggested us genetic blood test, we are awaiting reports. I am going to ask her for testing of natural killer cell, blood clotting etc.Need your support to survive through the loss and try again. Hope 2013 is our lucky year!Any suggestions for me?
