Thanks for sharing Jody,

It is always hard when it comes to due dates and friends and family having babies...I was pregnant with 4 others at my church and I was the first one...I lost my son at 18 1/2 weeks along and saw everyone have their babies...I even attempted to go to baby showers...I went to one, the second I left halfway and I did not go to any others...

That was 3 years ago and currently I am 17 weeks pregnant...but always a worry...

It will happen for you! Make sure to take all the time you need to grieve and be healed...you will never forget but it will get easier.

I am sorry. Don't think that it is odd you are struggling--I believe it is all part of the grieving process. Take each day, each moment as it comes. The advice my counselor gave me once is to not let the emotion control you.

My son's second birthday would be June 27--and the other day I realized how restless I was. I remembered I also felt like this last year. I am taking each day as it comes.

Do something special to remember your sweet baby. We have ice-cream with sprinkles. :)

Second that is one reason this group is here. It doesn't matter how long, WE are here to listen to you. Cry, scream, vent, share good or bad news. I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter 16 years ago. It is still hard sometimes, especially around due dates and her birthday. Hoildays are bad but staying busy helps some. Feel free to send me mail, if you ever need an ear. emoticon

Hi, my name is Jody. I had a miscarriage 6 months ago. My due date was June 5. I was having a REALLY difficult time dealing with it at the time and was put on zoloft.
That helped, although it still took several months to not cry whenever I saw or thought about anything related to babies. Then my sister had a baby-BEAUTIFUL, but very difficult. She was born 2 months and one day before I was due. Then my cousin had a baby a month later and my husbands neice had one a week ago. I've been weaning off the zoloft and tomorrow is my last dose. Maybe that wasn't such good timing, since my due date is tomorrow. I'm getting sad and irritable again. I don't know if it's because I've been constantly thinking about the baby or if it's because of the zoloft. Oh, did I also mention that up until about 2 weeks ago, I would dream about babies at least 3 times a week! UGH! On top of all this, I've gained about 15 pounds since then, so I'm hoping this site will help! (Sorry this is so long!)
