Hey Guys, I am also looking for some inspiration! I was 313 last Jan and I am trying to stay on the wagon; unfortunately, my wagon does not have sides and I keep falling off. I do exercise at home as well but I had to modify them as I am disabled and cannot move to well. My doctors and I are hoping that by losing the extra weight I will be able to move better and the pain will be reduced. It sure is hard to force myself every morning to face the gym!! Esp. when the pain is bad and I have nothing to help with it. I have already been able to come of the blood pressure meds and omeprazole for heartburn.
Hi, David, and welcome! But . . . I kind of think a guy who lost 72 lbs. is going to be teaching inspiration to folks here, not so much learning it!!!!! Congratulations on your successes to date. You're a real role-model, man : )

Hello everyone. I'm David, a former 300-pounder turned running/exercise enthusiast. I still have my struggles with food, but I'm in a better place than last year. During my first round with SparkPeople, I dropped from 300 down to 228. I then started lifting weights and ran a few marathons, and now I'm back to 248. I put on a lot of muscle, but I also got comfortable with a lot of food choices. I'm fairly happy with my progress, but I desperately want to break through to the next level. My workouts are there, I just need to improve my food choices. Trying to gain inspiration anywhere I can find it. Hope to learn from a few folks on here.
