Between 22 Sep 10 and 7 Oct 11 I had 3 back surgeries...talk about frustrating for an overly active person. I did learn one thing - you have to heal before you get back to the routine. But after that ya have to kick it in and get'er done even though the mind wants to use excuses...

I've loss 43lbs since last October have put back 5 & I did it by 3meals & 2 inbetween meals & a cup of YORGET every day (almost) I still have 29 more to lose I started at 217 & now I'm at 179 & I want to get to 150. Every 1 thinks boys are suppose to be of a certian weight. Well I wasn't that at age 11 I only weight 60lbs at 15 I reached 100lbs for the 1st time. at age 48 I hit 200lbs mark & at 51 I went on my 1st weight loss diet & told myself I want to lose 67 lbs when I started I was 217lbs Today I weight 179lbs

I would recommend that you run out and get the book Body for Life by Bill Phillips, it is a quick read and gives you the information. He teaches to exercise six days a week & eat clean six days a week, give yourself a day to eat what ever you want and let your body rest. I weighed 355lbs Feb of 2010 and an older friend that was buff told me about the book. I looked at the thumbnail before & after pics on the inside cover and found guys that looked just like me. I read and applied what I read. Today I am at 266lb and my goal is 230lbs or less by the end of the year. It is a healthy lifestyle that makes it healthy weight loss and makes it sustainable. I eat six healthy proper portioned meals (because I know that I am going to eat something again in 3 hours I do not need a large portion) each day and I do cardio three times per week and weights three times per week in my home. I hope you will take a step back invest in your future by reading Body for Life and applying what you read. If I can loose 89lbs so far, then you can too. Im a 40 yr old male. I need to get 2 hip replacements. My first surgery is scheduled for September. I also have lipodystrophy (where you basically lose the fat in your arms & legs, and it redistributes to your abdomen). It is impossible to lose this weight according to the drs. I am determined to lose at lease 30 pounds no matter what it takes. I have lost 20 pounds before but I am finding it almost impossible to start my diet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
