I did a month long gluten free diet a few years ago trying to determine if that was one of my problems and it didn't help. What I did discover, however, was that I sorely missed things like sandwiches, pizza, and noodles. We eat everything wheat so it was a huge change. I was really happy I didn't find gluten to be a problem...but frustrated it didn't yield answers either. Since then I've seen so many foods come out that are gluten free! (More bread choices and noodle choices). So hopefully you'll be able to find some good stuff. Good luck!
Hello everyone, my name is Cathie, I'm 32 with 3 kids and I have a bunch of allergies. I'm allergic to maple tree pollen, birch, oak, poplar, ragweed, nickel, dust mites (both kinds), and HEAT. Yep. Heat. I have a condition known as cholinergic urticaria which is a fancy way of saying that when my core temp heats up, I break out into hives. I battle it by taking an allergy medication daily, year round. I have complications due to this condition, which makes it difficult to exercise, and embarrassing. People who have CU often have clogged sweat glands which prevents us from sweating properly. So we overheat quickly. Plus, the aftermath is horrible. Acne-like breakouts. I didn't realize this was the problem originally, and I often put off working out because I didn't want the breakouts. (Washing immediately doesn't help...it's from beneath). Hoping this time around, with the aid of diligent use of an anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, oil dissolving spray, I will be able to avoid huge breakouts and workout more. :)
