Thanks for the addtl recipe, looks great! These actually came out really yummy! Of course we added more spices than the recipe calls for, as usual! My husband also made some really yummy rolls made from stone ground whole wheat flour..tasty! I put some avocado, pepperchini's and fresh spinach on mine and loved it!
Here is the recipe:

That's good that WW is promoting fruits and veggies (hello!) and I'm glad they're now free, as they should be! Even my meat-loving husband enjoyed our "burgers" last night, a huge success in my book! Best wishes! emoticon

In case your veggie burger recipe is not great, here is my favorite. After trying many recipes, this is the only one I use now....

I don't think I"ve read that one. but I know who he is...I also am trying to avoid most processed foods..I'm going to weight watchers...just rejoined a couple of weeks ago...they're emphasizing more fruits and veggies than before...most are "free"...which helps.
I don't eat meat...periodically try to be vegan but don't totally succeed...lol..
would love to hear how the black bean burgers turned out..

Hi Joanne! I am currently reading the book "In Defense of Food" by Michael Pollan, it is truly enlightening. I am trying to make a serious effort to eat only real whole foods as often as possible and trying to get away from all of the processed foods that have flooded our supermarkets. I do eat meat, though I'm trying to limit it to about once or twice a week, instead of daily. I'm glad I cam across this team, it's exactly what I'm looking for! I'd love to share recipe ideas too! Tonight we are making black bean burgers for the first time, we'll see how they turn out!
If they're great, I'll share, if not, we'll try something else!
